No One is an Island: Accessibilità e Pubblico dei Concerti

We know the power of music well: it shortens distances and builds bridges between distant, different worlds. It brings people together and creates spaces for sharing, growth and fun. Are we making the most of this power?
To answer these questions, Il Concerto Che Vorrei was created: a participatory project that aims to map and analyse the needs of audiences, artists and live-music venues in order to improve, through a participatory approach, the accessibility of concerts in Italy. By systematising good practices, effective communication and systematic reflection on the production and promotion of live music in Italy, the workshop will explore practices that can benefit specific groups of people who are normally excluded from live music in Italy, increasing operators’ ability to develop more diverse audiences.
